Vampire Comic Book Films | Ranker Tier List

We like comic book films and it’s awesome seeing how diverse they can be. This post was inspired after watching a vampire movie set in the 60s that has nothing to do with comic book movies, but the idea was formed, nonetheless. We’re basing our ratings on the vampires, writing, and closeness to the source material. We’re using our 5-to-1 rating system, 5 being the best and 1 being the worst. Note: This ranker will be update accordingly.

5-Star Ranking – Best of the Best

Rating: 5 out of 5.
  • Blade II (2002) – Human-vampire hybrid Blade teams up with a special elite group of vampires to stop a group of mutant vampires from global genocide.

4-Star Ranking – Top 10 Worthy

Rating: 4 out of 5.
  • Blade (1998) – Blade, a human-vampire hybrid, teams up with mentor Abraham Whistler and hematologist Karen Jenson to fight against vampires.
  • 30 Days of Night (2007) – The story focuses on an Alaskan town beset by vampires as it enters into a 30-day-long polar night.

3-Star Ranking – Good Entertainment

Rating: 3 out of 5.
  • The Batman vs. Dracula (2005) – The Dark Knight faces the Prince of Darkness, Count Dracula.
  • 30 Days of Night: Dark Days (2010) – Stella Oleson garners the attention of the local vampire population after seeking revenge for the death of her husband, Eben.

2-Star Ranking – Could’ve Been Better

Rating: 2 out of 5.
  • Blade: Trinity (2004) – Human-vampire hybrid Blade is framed for numerous murders and must team up with vampire hunters to save humanity from a resurrected Dracula.
  • Priest (2011) – Set in an alternate universe, a veteran Warrior Priest lives in obscurity until his niece is kidnapped by vampires.
  • Morbius (2022) – Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.

1-Star Ranking – Total Garbage

Rating: 1 out of 5.
  • Vampirella (1996) – An alien vampire named Vampirella, comes to Earth and joining PURGE, a group of vampire hunters, to locate and stop the vampire cult leader, Vlad.
  • Blood: The Last Vampire (2009) – The film focuses on human-vampire hybrid Saya who hunts vampires seeking to destroy the most powerful vampire, Onigen.
