Coming at you guys with another casting choice post and in this one, we’re taking a look at the DC super villainess Poison Ivy, one of Batman’s most enduring enemies and belongs to the collective of adversaries that make up Batman’s rogues gallery.

Poison Ivy’s real name is Pamela Lillian Isley, she’s a botanist obsessed with plants, ecological extinction, and environmentalism. One of the world’s most notorious eco-terrorists, she uses plant toxins and mind-controlling pheromones for her criminal activities, which are usually aimed at protecting endangered species and the natural environment.  She has periodically been depicted as an antiheroine, often doing the wrong things for the right reasons.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Wouldn’t it be cool to see her play a seductive villain??  How would she look as a red head with greenish skin?  Look, I would like to see her play a superhero or a supervillain because she’s a capable actress.  She has that look that can be sympathetic yet fierce and there’s depth in her gaze which I think could help audiences sympathize with the character.

Bryce Dallas Howard

I’ve never really seen her play a seductive role and it would be interesting to see her play both a villain and a seductress.  Plus it’ll be awesome to see her break into the superhero genre.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt is a capable actress and definitely has the chops to tackle the role.  Not only does she have that sincere look to her but she actually looks like the character.  Also, with her long track record she is a perfect choice, especially since she could bring a certain level of depth to the character.

Anastasia Baranova

I had to add Baranova to this list.  She’s one of my favorite characters in Z Nation.  She’s tough, she’s deep, and she’s really pretty, qualities that can make for a great Pamela Isley.
