Good news, folks. The casting choices for three characters of the upcoming DC Comics’ Birds of Prey film have been revealed. Directed by Cathy Yan with Margot Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is cast as Huntress, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary.

We’ve seen several versions of each of these characters.  Jessica De Gouw plays Huntress in the Arrowverse.  Victoria Cartagena plays Montoya in Gotham.  In the Arrowverse, Black Canary was portrayed by four actresses, Caity Lotz, Alex Kingston, Madison McLaughlin, Juliana Harkavy, and in Smallville by Alaina Huffman.

We also have a brief synopsis of the film.  After splitting up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes – Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya – come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord, Black Mask.

The Birds of Prey film is looking interesting especially since we have some pretty good talent involved.  Can’t wit to see who else is getting involved in this movie.
