We’re doing another awesome ranker and we’re following up with Final Fantasy games again. This time around we’re looking at Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Type-0, Final Fantasy VI, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

As per usual we’re utilizing our famous 1-to-5 Rating System, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

Setting – This area focuses more on the story elements and the world itself. This also includes the main protagonists, the supporting characters, and of course the villains.

• Final Fantasy XIII – 2-Star
• Final Fantasy Type-0 – 4-Star
• Final Fantasy VI – 3-Star
• Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII – 4-Star

Gameplay – In this area we’re ranking based on the gameplay mechanics and how well they are implemented. We’re looking at the combat system, the loading screen time, and smooth gameplay.

• Final Fantasy XIII – 5-Star
• Final Fantasy Type-0 – 4-Star
• Final Fantasy VI – 3-Star
• Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII – 3-Star

Visual Design – This area focuses on how well the visual appeal is to the game. This doesn’t necessarily mean just the graphics but also the art design, the in-game graphics, the cutscenes and cinematics.

• Final Fantasy XIII – 5-Star

• Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII – 3-Star

Sound Design – This part we’re looking at how well the game sounds. This includes the overall sound design, voice performances, music, and soundtrack.
