Sherlock is a 2010 British crime drama television series created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, based on the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes detective stories. The series follows Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) and John Watson (Martin Freeman) as the two solve mysterious cases in modern day London.
