Having almost finished reading the third book in the Millennium series, I’ve come to just love the character. Played by Noomi Rapace (who played in the original trilogy), Rooney Mara (the American remake), and Claire Foy (the sequel), Lisbeth has become a favorite with her brooding look, high intelligence, and rotten attitude.  But despite her hardcore exterior,  Salandar is just as complex and sympathetic.

Played by Jamie Foxx, Django is the unlikely hero of the movie. A former slave freed by his friend and mentor King Schultz, the two journey to find his wife Broomhilda. Django is a likable character and seeing his growth and his confidence makes him easy to be rooted for.

Possibly Will Smith’s most hardcore role, Lowry is the type of officer you want by your side in a firefight, even if he has to shoot you in the rear to save your life. He’s a loud mouth, over confident, level headed in a fight, and just the type of best friend that can keep your spirits up when you’re feeling down.
