Like the rivalry between Scorpion and Sub-Zero, we’re pitting two of NetherRealm Studios best games against each other, Mortal Kombat X will be up against Injustice 2. Taking place 25 years after its predecessor, Mortal Kombat X picks up with Earthrealm warriors stopping an invasion from Outworld as well as the resurrection of the Elder God, Shinnok.
Injustice 2‘s storyline centers around Batman and his insurgency’s attempt to restore society after the fall of Superman’s Regime; however, the arrivals of the newly formed supervillain group “The Society” and the alien Brainiac force Batman to consider freeing the imprisoned Superman to help combat the threats.
