Top 10 Mortal Kombat Elementals

Welcome to another post on website and in this post we have a treat for you guys. In this post we’re focusing on fighters from the Mortal Kombat series that are able to wield the elements. Out contestants not only can wield and manipulate it but some are actually made of it.

(1) Scorpion

Sense his resurrection, Scorpion has the ability to wield fire, or to be more specific, Hellfire, Netherrealm’s version of fire. He can hurl fireballs, summon fire underneath opponents, set himself on fire to damage anyone who comes into direct contact, and is more commonly known to spew it from his skull when performing fatalities.

(2) Sub-Zero (Bi-Han)

Bi-Han is a Cryomancer and as such possess the ability to generate and control ice. He’s able to create ice weapons (swords and spikes) and ice constructs (clones and traps). He can flash-freeze opponents with a single touch and freezing the area around him.

(3) Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang)

Like other Cryomancers, Kuai Liang is able to control ice in its many forms. He can create ice constructs to help him in battle or to defend himself. He also has the ability to resist cold temperatures and other Cryomancer’s freezing abilities. He can flash-freeze opponents with just the tap of his fingers.

(4) Fujin

Fujin has control of the wind, allowing him to levitate himself and opponents, create miniature tornadoes, create high velocity winds to surround him, and send out powerful gust of wind. He can also shoot air bullets from his fists, trap enemies in a vacuum, and use the wind in tandem with his sword to send it flying and slashing enemies.


(5) Liu Kang

Liu Kang has the ability control fire. He can shoot fire projectiles and ignite his limbs on fire to deal fire damage, and even teleport in a burst of flames.

(6) Blaze

Blaze is a fire elemental so everything he does is fire related. Not only can he use it to augment his physical prowess but he has a lot of abilities including shooting fire balls and teleporting.

(7) Smoke

Smoke is an Enenra, creatures that consists of smoke and vapor. As such he has the ability to turn into smoke or cloud of vapor making him intangible, become invisible, teleport, and even mind control other people by insert his mist into them.


(8) Tremor

Tremor’s powers derive from the fact that he’s an Earth Elemental and can control the earth for a variety of purposes. Not only he displace the ground beneath his opponents but he can control different forms of earth minerals such as gold, crystal and magma. He can also coat his body in rocks (especially since the rock formations on his chest and arms are actually his skin) and create constructs.


(9) Cetrion

Cetrion is the Elder Goddess of Life, Virtue, and Light and basically has every element under her belt. She can easily manipulate water (shoot water blasts), fire (summon fire under enemies), air (create fast-moving tornadoes), earth (throw large boulders), and even light (shoot light beams) to her will. Also, she can combine them just as easily to create others such as metal, ice, magma, and energy. She’s basically the physical embodiment of nature so she can create and control plant life, even going so far as to using them as weapons. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what Cetrion can do.


(10) Raiden

Raiden is the god of thunder and lightning and, as such, has complete control over lightning and electrical energy. He can easily fire off lightning bolts from his hands, create forcefields, use it to move objects or manipulate an opponent’s body, form massive thunderstorms, and even channels them to strengthen his physical attacks.
