These are some of the best fights that the Amazon has engaged in. Whether it is an ally or enemy, Wonder Woman has battled the hardest there is.

(1) Wonder Woman vs. Superman (Justice League)

We know Superman is the powerhouse but how well does Diana measure up. Well, in an episode of Justice League, Superman and Wonder Woman are deceived into believing the other is a demonic creature. This fight is awesome. It’s fast paced, it’s destructive, and what makes it special is that to those witnessing it’s just the two fighting. But Wonder Woman does hold her own against the Man of Steel.

(2) Wonder Woman vs. Ares (Wonder Woman)

Despite many not liking the third act of Wonder Woman, I liked seeing the fight between her and Ares. It’s great seeing how powerful and capable the God of War is, with his many abilities. Like the fights in Man of Steel, it’s incredibly destruction showing how powerful these two characters are. Ultimately, the fights becomes emotionally charged after Steve Trevor makes his sacrifice.

(3) Wonder Woman vs. Medusa (Wonder Woman: Bloodlines)

This is just a brutal fight. After villains Cyber and Poison attack Themyscira, the two are confronted by Diana and Steve Trevor. The two unleash Medusa who kills them and takes their serum to increase her size and power. This is a fight where Diana is pushed to her limits due to Medusa’s power and abilities. For as powerful as Diana is, her opponent is literally mopping the floor with her. She even blinds herself to avoid Medusa’s stone gaze. Even with help from Steve Trevor and Silver Swan, Diana barely manages to defeat her.

(4) Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman vs. Doomsday (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice)

Despite the negative attention Batman v Superman gets, the last act of the film is just epic. Doomsday is released and is wrecking everything. With Superman temporarily incapacitated, and Batman unequipped to battle him everything looks grim. Until Diana shows up. The three battle this titan and it’s destructive with all three having to ban together or risk being killed. Diana’s first appearance as Wonder Woman is great as she dives into battle with as much courage as her comrades. Not to mention how amazing the music is.

(5) Wonder Woman vs. Aquaman (Flashpoint)

We have another villainous version of Diana on this list. Both in Flashpoint and the Flashpoint Paradox, Diana is a ruthless ruler who has an affair with Aquaman. An affair that builds to a war between their nations after Diana kills Arthur’s wife, Mera. Unlike a fight between true enemies, this fight is deep due to the emotional ties between the two and seeing how it’s reflected in the war surrounding them shows the depths of their love and hatred for each other.

(6) Wonder Woman vs. Deimos (Wonder Woman)

An agent of Ares decides to spoil Diana and Steve Trevor’s evening and things get crazy. Deimos proves himself to be a competent fighter and manages to keep Diana on her toes. The fight takes them from an alley, to a mall, and shows that even in a dress she’s more than capable of handling herself.

(7) Wonder Woman vs. Vixen, Huntress, Hawkgirl, Black Canary (Justice League Unlimited)

One of the best episodes of the entire series has Huntress investigating an underground fighting arena for where several members of the Justice League are competing due to them being mind controlled. Huntress manages to free Vixen, Hawkgirl, and Black Canary before confronting a mind-controlled Wonder Woman. The fight itself is pretty brutal and shows that in terms of superheroes Diana is in a league of her own. Despite the combined efforts of the crew Diana is wiping the floor with them. This is a great fight that shows what a “bad” Diana can do.

(8) Wonder Woman and Big Barda vs. The Furies (Superman/Batman: Apocalpse)

This film has a lot of great action, with Wonder Woman and Big Barda’s battle with the Furies being the second best fight. It’s a great fast paced fight sequence showing how badass the Amazon is as well as putting Barda in the spotlight. The Furies are diverse with their attacks and coordinate their attacks masterfully and it’s just a great way of showcasing them. Also, aside from the great choreography of hand-to-hand combat but the use of weaponry is awesome.

(9) Wonder Woman vs. Superman (Injustice: Gods Among Us)

Injustice has a lot of great fight scenes and during year four of the series, the gods have come down to put a stop to Superman’s rule. After a fierce battle between heroes and gods, Zeus forces Diana to fight Superman. It’s a great fight with the two of them pushing themselves to the limits. Wonder Woman does come out on top due to her being a better fighter. The art style is solid and the blows are impactful. Wonder Woman has been one of the driving forces behind Superman’s actions and it gives the fight depth as the stakes are high for both combatants.

(10) Wonder Woman vs. Doomsday (The Death of Superman)

This is perhaps the most epic fight that’s on this list. Doomsday has come to Earth and he’s just laying waste to any and everything in his way. Even when the Justice League confronts him he kicks their ass. But Diana shows up afterwards to show this unstoppable force what an Amazon can do. The back-and-forth blows between these two shook the earth. Diana utilizes everything in her power and in her arsenal to fight Doomsday. And for as well as she holds her own, she eventually loses and is nearly killed. It’s a great fight, perhaps the best on this list.
