  • The Lost Boys – After moving to a new town, two brothers discover that the area is a haven for vampires.

4-Star Ranking – Top 10 Worthy

Rating: 4 out of 5.
  • Hellraiser – Its plot involves a mystical puzzle box that summons the Cenobites, a group of extra-dimensional, sadomasochistic beings who cannot differentiate between pain and pleasure. 
  • Creepshow 2 – Based upon stories by Stephen King, it features three horror segments consisting of “Old Chief Wood’nhead”, “The Raft” and “The Hitchhiker”.

3-Star Ranking – Good Entertainment

Rating: 3 out of 5.
  • Blue Monkey – The film centers on a group of doctors trapped in a quarantined hospital as a giant insect-like creature begins to spread a deadly infection.
  • Dolls – Its plot follows six people who seek shelter during a storm in the mansion of an elderly puppet maker and his wife, only to find that the various puppets and dolls in the home contain the imprisoned spirits of criminals.
  • Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors – Nancy Thompson, now a psychiatrist, and Kristen, a patient who can bring others into her own dreams, team up with other kids to launch a daring rescue into the dreamland and save a child from Freddy Krueger.

2-Star Ranking – Could’ve Been Better

Rating: 2 out of 5.
  • Jaws: The Revenge – The film focuses on a now-widowed Ellen Brody (Gary) and her conviction that a great white shark is seeking revenge on her family, particularly when it kills her youngest son, and follows her to the Bahamas.

1-Star Ranking – Total Garbage

Rating: 1 out of 5.
  • The Monster Squad – A group of savvy kids set out to keep Count Dracula and his crew of monsters from controlling the world.
  • House II: The Second StoryHouse II involves a storyline centered around a couple who settle in an old family mansion with a supernatural connection.
