It’s open season in the oceanic world and shark films are prowling just beneath the surface, hunting for potential prey. We’re using this ranker to celebrate shark week. Also, this post will focus on the shark movies of the 1980s. I would like to shout out to Jaws (1975) and Jaws 2 (1978).

As with all our ranker list we’re using our 5-to-1 ranker scale, 5 being the best and 1 being the worst, but we’re going to use the leveling system from our favorite shark video game, Maneater. Note: this list is ongoing and will be continuously being updated.
