There have been a lot of really good games this year especially in the first-person shooter genre. First-person shooters have been very popular since the original Doom, Half-Life, and Wolfenstein and have been gaining steam over the years. Series such as Borderlands, Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield wouldn’t probably even exist without those influences.

In this versus poll, we’re going to be pitting four of the best FPS games of 2012 against each other. Our contestants will be Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, and Halo 4. These are some of the most iconic first-person shooters of our time and still hold up today. But we’re giving the choice to the fans and letting you guys show us which of these games rule above the rest.
