Vs. Polls | Best Fantasy Franchise

There’s something about fantasy that’s just so immersive. Perhaps it’s the thought of being whisked away to another world with a new history, new species, and new laws that govern the life there. I took it upon myself to run a poll out of curiosity.

I took four of the biggest fantasy franchises that I liked and asked a bunch of people which of the four was their favorite. The four franchises are The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, and Dungeons & Dragons. When we talk about franchises we’re talking about books, movies, tv shows, comics, and games.

Out of the 34 people I questioned (don’t have a big circle) 22 were male and 12 were female. Lord of the Rings received 26.47% of the votes with 6 men and 3 women. Game of Thrones received 26.47% of the votes with 7 men and 2 women. The Witcher received 14.71% of the votes with 3 men and 2 women. Dungeons & Dragons received 32.35% of the votes with 6 men and 5 women.

Was very surprised at how many people had such a strong interest in the Dungeons & Dragons franchise (which was released for 1974) but a lot of the people I questioned were older. My favorite of the bunch is The Witcher.
