Kara Zor-El (also known as Supergirl) is a superheroine appearing under DC Comics. She was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino appearing in Action Comics #252 in May 1959. Although there are several incarnations of the character we’re focusing on Kara as being the biological cousin of Kal-El.

We’ve had several actresses to play the role of Kara Zor-El. In this post we’re pitting Melissa Benoist against Sasha Calle. Benoist played the titular character in CW’s Supergirl series and Arrowverse, and Calle portrayed the character in 2023’s The Flash and DC Extended Universe.
