Pokemon Sword debuted on the Nintendo Switch in 2019 along with its sister title Pokemon Shield. Players control the protagonist as they explore the fictional region of Galar in a quest to master Pokemon battling while completing the Pokedex, an in-game encyclopedia, by obtaining the 400 available Pokemon.
