Top 10 Third Books in a Series

Third time’s the charm as the old saying goes. Although I’m a fan of trilogies some series go beyond the trinity formula. Third entries either continue the narrative of a series or generally close it.

(1) The Cabinet of Curiosities (Agent Pendergast #3)

A police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield attempt to escape from Raccoon City during a zombie apocalypse.  This is definitely for fans of the video game.


(4) The Dragon Reborn (The Wheel of Time #3)

  • Release Date: 1991

Set as the third book in the Wheel of Time series, the story follows the declaration of Rand al’Thor as the Dragon Reborn, and the efforts of those who want to help him and those who want to stop him.


(5) Deadland Rising (Deadland Saga #3)
