Symbiotes are some of the most well known and unique species in the Marvel universe. Spider-Man has been in the theatres for nearly twenty years and even though symbiotes are pretty common in the Spider-Man mythos it wasn’t until the third film that a symbiote appeared in live action (to mixed reactions from critics and audiences). Most felt that Venom wasn’t done properly. However, in 2018 when Venom was released we see a resurgence of the symbiote species in live action.
