This is a list of this year’s best movies of 2013. Granted, I haven’t seen a vast majority of films but this is of my movies I watched. This, of course, is my opinion, so anyone who doesn’t like it can jump in a bush. Or leave me a comment for open debate. Some honorable mentions that didn’t make the list are Evil Dead, Now You See Me, Iron Man 3, Oz, the Great and Powerful, World War Z, Pacific Rim, and White House Down. So without further-a-do, here is my list of top 10 best movies of 2013. Enjoy.

A great animated tale showing the broken relationship between two sisters. This film has some really good animation, memorable songs, great chemistry.
(7) Man of Steel

Director: Zack Snyder
Reboot to the superman franchise that takes it a new level in live-action. Has some the most memorable superhero fights, Henry Cavill kills it as Superman, and have some really good visuals. Not only is it a great Superman movie but it definitely helped redefine the whole the darker more destructive elements of comic book films.

Tom Hanks gives a powerful performance as a captain kidnapped by Somali pirates in this film. The close quarter moments are very tense and there are great chemistry between the characters.

Great adaptation with some of the best character development. Very good performances and a spectacular ending.
Now these last two were incredibly hard for me to decide. I really enjoyed them both. Both have some really good acting, great dialogue, and great chemistry among the cast. There are really good action scenes great stories and are sequels. These two films I rated as “Too Cool For Words” and will definitely buy them on DVD.
(2) The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

This film was better than the first. Jennifer Lawrence is a total badass as Katniss. The characters were really cool, the action was amped up, a story that dives deeper into the mechanizations of the world.
