Jim Carrey has done a lot of great characters, some of his more iconic from books, games, and comics. We’ll see which of these characters is his best.
Stanley Ipkiss is the main protagonist of the 1994 The Mask film and finds a magical mask that transforms him into his alter ego, The Mask. The Mask was published by Dark Horse Comics first appearing in Dark Horse Presents #10 in 1987. He was created by Doug Mahnke and John Arcudi.
Count Olaf is the main antagonist of the 2004 film A Series of Unfortunate Events, and the book series that the it’s based on. The character was created by author Daniel Handler under the pen name Lemony Snicket. He first appeared in the novel The Bad Beginning in 1999.
Colonel Stars and Stripes is a supporting character in the 2013 Kick-Ass 2, based on the second and third volumes of Kick-Ass: The Dave Lizewski Years created by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. Both the Colonel Stars and Lieutenant Stripes are amalgamated into one character for the film, thus making Colonel Stars and Stripes.
