Welcome to another edition of the website and in this post we’re continuing our look at the top 100 best characters in movies. This list includes superheroes, spies, killers, agents, regular citizens, vampires, aliens, and it just keeps going.
(21) Gazelle
Talk about a femme fatale. Gazelle is one of those henchmen who has personality, is sexy as hell, and is unique due to her weaponized prosthetic limbs. Sofia Boutella is already a flexible and sexy woman and seeing her in this has definitely put her on my radar. But seriously, Gazelle has a lot of personality, being both dangerous and comical with her delivery.
Film(s): Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)
(22) Hit-Girl
Talk about a kid with a potty mouth. Hit-Girl is the life of the movie. What line she delivers are vulgar and unrelenting. She’s fully capable of incapacitating or killing a grown man. She has the best lines in the movie. Hit-Girl is a vigilante along with her father Big Daddy and together they rain hell upon the criminal element of society. This is Chloe Grace Moretz’s most notable role and she’s brilliant with her performance.
Film(s): Kick-Ass (2010), Kick-Ass 2 (2013)
(23) Mystique
If she sees you, she can be you. This seductive woman is a mutant of the Marvel Universe (not the cinematic) with the ability to assume the form of anyone she chooses. But it isn’t just her looks that make her awesome. She’s cunning, smart, and an exceptional fighter.
Film(s): X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men: First Class (2011), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019)

(24) Caesar
Not all leaders are created equal and Caesar has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Throughout the films we see Caesar’s growth and the pressure of leading his ape tribe against the threat of a dwindling and desperate human population. You can’t help but love this guy. He isn’t out to change the world but to make sure his people are okay.
Film(s): Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
(25) Hellboy
Hellboy is a demon who was raised by a human and fights the supernatural forces that threaten the world. This dude’s straight-up a badass. He’s fun, sarcastic, definitely someone you’d want in a fight. And what amps up the character is that Ron Perlman completely owns the role.
Film(s): Hellboy (2004), Hellboy: The Golden Army (2008), Hellboy (2019)

(26) Kylo Ren/Ben Solo
A lot of people often compare Kylo as a ripoff Darth Vader, but in my opinion, he shows the depth and struggle of what Anakin went through in the sequels and Vader in the original. I like that he’s young and prone to fits and despite how powerful he is, gives into his emotions unlike his predecessors. I like the character arc, costume design, cool lightsaber, and how he displayed his powers. He’s definitely one of the best aspects of the films. The character was portrayed by Adam Driver.
Film(s): Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015), Star Wars Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017), Star Wars Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Also featured in:
(27) Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch
Really don’t like the character in the comics. I think her powers suck and her costume design is freaking stupid. However, Elizabeth Olsen does a fantastic job as the character in the MCU. Not only is she a beautiful woman but her powers are interesting, it’s diverse, it’s powerful, you can actually see how she has this potential. Her costume design looks straight up badass. I like that she isn’t a mutant but enhanced through the experiments with the cube. Her arc from a deep villain to an incredible hero.

(28) Natasha Romanov/Black Widow
One of the original Avengers, Black Widow manages to be smart, sexy, badass, and sarcastic. And yeah, she doesn’t have superpowers but she manages to stick with the big boys. Scarlett Johansson is a great actress and she fits the character. She’s a Russian spy and assassin who was inducted into the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.

(29) Agent K
Agent K is a top agent and one of the founders of the Men in Black organization who’s served for more than 40 years. Tommy Lee Jones completely owns the role. K is smart, confident, resourceful, wise, stoic, and sarcastic.
Film(s): Men in Black (1995), Men in Black II (2002), Men in Black 3 (2012)
(30) Beatrice Prior
Beatrice Prior is the main protagonist of the Divergent series, and despite the downward spiral of the films, she’s a really good character. In the story, she discovers that she’s divergent, not able to fit into any of the five factions. Shailene Woodley plays the character and she’s awesome.
Film(s): Divergent (2014), Insurgent (2015), Allegiant (2016)
