Manipulating the elements such as fire and water is awesome but we don’t give enough attention to Mother Nature. Plant users are often overlooked, with the ability to create, shape and manipulate plants, including wood, vines, plants, moss, and parts of the plants, such as leaves, seeds, roots, fruits and flowers. This list will include ten prominent plant using characters from all over media.
(1) Perfuma (She-Ra: Princess of Power)
Perfuma is connected to the Heart-Blossom Tree, thus making her one of the elemental princesses. Her connection grants her a variety of abilities, primarily associated with plant life. Perfuma can grow and control plants. She can command trees to grow and cause vegetation to spring from the ground. Perfuma primarily uses huge vines in combat. Perfuma is capable of creating a massive golem entirely out of vines and plants.
(2) Poison Ivy (DC Comics)
She is a Gotham City botanist who is obsessed with plants, ecological extinction, and environmentalism. Ivy typically wears a green one-piece outfit adorned with leaves and often has plant vines extending over her limbs. She uses plant toxins and mind-controlling pheromones for her criminal activities, which are usually aimed at protecting endangered species and the natural environment. She has the ability to mentally control all forms of plant life on a molecular level. This plant growth can occur in an instant, allowing her to use plants in the environment to attack or ensnare her opponents, and even to create powerful new plant hybrids for specialized purposes.
(3) Grover (Paladins)
Grover is an angry walking tree with a huge stone axe. Grover can use flowers to heal his companions and use vines to latch onto allies or terrain and pull himself to them.
(4) Lillymon (Digimon Adventure 01)
Lillymon is a fairy-type Digimon and the ultimate form of Palmon whose design is designed from rosebuds. She can fly in the air with the four leaf-like wings growing from her back.
(5) Swamp Thing (DC Comics)
In physical form, Swamp Thing is a Chlorokinetic-transmorphic elemental entity; an Avatar of “The Green” (the plane of existence for the hive-min and animate vegetable matter anywhere, including alien plants, even sentient ones, and construct it into a body for himself. As a result, bodily attacks mean little to him, he can easily regrow damaged or severed body parts, and can even transport himself across the globe by leaving his current form, transferring his consciousness to a new form grown from whatever vegetable matter is present in the location he wishes to reach. Swamp Thing can control any form of plant life, he can make it bend to his will or accelerate its growth. This control even extends to alien life.
(6) The First Hokage (Naruto)
Despite his godlike strength and skill Harashima was most famous for his use of Wood Release, a combination of earth and water-natured chakra, creating wood and plants from the ground or his very being of various sizes that he manipulated to his purposes (which includes constructs, clones of himself, etc.).
(7) Mother Gothel (Once Upon a Time)
Gothel is a Tree Nymph and a powerful witch giving her a wide range of abilities associated with manipulating plants and trees.
(8) Azuma (Fairy Tail)
Great Tree Arc is a form of Lost Magic which allows Azuma to manipulate and produce trees, as well as to create explosions by condensing the power of the earth inside the fruits of such trees. Great Tree Arc comes in as an extremely versatile form of Magic, granting Azuma the ability to manipulate the vegetation for offensive purposes as well as defensive ones. He can also merge himself with trees. However, the great power offered by Great Tree Arc comes with similarly terrible side effects: overusing such form of Magic eventually turned Azuma himself into a tree.
(9) Man-Thing (Marvel Comics)

When he is injured he can use the vegetation in the surrounding area to heal himself. Negative feelings and emotions make him release corrosive acids that can burn just about anything.
(10) Shinji Nishiya/Kamui Woods (My Hero Academia)
Kamui’s Quirk allows him to manipulate wood. Kamui Woods shoots out the wood from one of his arms and surrounds the enemy with it to immobilize them.
