Water is life and a force of nature without form but is powerful. This list includes characters from movies with the ability to manipulate water and/or transform into water.
1. Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson & the Olympians)
With the power of the sea within him, Percy can control every form and great volumes of water, being even able to summon and heal his wounds and cure himself of most poisons with it. When in contact with or in the presence of water, Percy gains a disproportionate amount of superhuman clarity, strength, speed, agility, and endurance equaling a god.
2. Orm/Ocean Master (Justice League: Throne of Atlantis)
Orm wields the Trident of Poseidon which allowed him to control massive amounts of water from the seas, to the level of tsunamis, water spouts, cyclones and other powerful tidal effects.
3. Aquaman (DC Extended Universe)
Aquaman’s trident helps him control water as was the case when he used it to stop a massive water torrent.
4. Katara (The Last Airbender)
Katara is identified as a waterbender and is able to push and pull water, manipulate it from a source into streams and waves, and even freeze water into ice.
5. Calypso (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Calypso is a sea goddess and daughter of Atlas, therefore she is able to control the sea. She’s been seen to summons storms as well as massive whirlpools.
6. Aang (The Last Airbender)
Aang showed prodigious skill in waterbending being able to easily create a huge wave or bending entire streams of water, preferring to bend from large sources of water such as rivers, lakes, or oceans. He can also compress massive volumes of water into smaller streams.
7. Mera (DC Extended Universe)
Mera possesses the ability to manipulate water freely, causing her eyes to glow bright blue whenever she uses this power. She also possesses the ability to drain the water from others, this ability causes her hands to glow with a blue aura.
8. Storm (X-Men)
Storm is a mutant capable of manipulating the weather, which gives her a different kind of water control. She can control all forms of precipitation, humidity, and moisture, can create mist or fog, call forth storms the size of a drizzle to hurricanes, and can control ocean currents.
9. Imhotep (The Mummy)
As a resurrected immortal, Imhotep gains a large variety of abilities, the most notable are his elemental control of sand, water, and wind. His control of water is so great he summoned a massive wall of water to attack his nemesis while they were flying in a blimp.
10. Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter)
Among many of Dumbledore’s capabilities, he’s adept at using elemental magic. Although he’s great controlling fire, he’s also great at controlling water. He’s so proficient in controlling water, he can even manipulate it with non-verbal commands.
