Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, is a superheroine under DC Comics, Superman’s cousin, and a Kryptonian.  Despite being in the shadow of her cousin’s massive shadow Supergirl has definitely come into her own not only becoming more prominent in comics but in other areas of media.
