5-Star Ranking – Best of the Best
- The Blob – The plot follows an acidic, amoeba-like organism that crashes down to Earth in a military satellite, which devours and dissolves anything in its path as it grows. Directed by Chuck Russell.
4-Star Ranking – Top 10 Worthy
- Killer Klowns from Outer Space – It concerns a clan of evil extraterrestrials who resemble clowns that arrive on Earth and invade a small town in order to capture, kill and harvest the human inhabitants to use as sustenance by drinking their blood. Directed by Chiodo Brothers.
- Child’s Play – Its plot follows a widowed mother who gives a doll to her son, unaware that the doll is possessed by the soul of a serial killer. Directed by Tom Holland.
3-Star Ranking – Good Entertainment
- Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood – Set years after the events of the previous film, the plot follows a psychokinetic teenage girl who unwittingly releases Jason from his tomb at the bottom of Crystal Lake, allowing him to go on another killing spree in the area. Directed by John Carl Buechler.
- Maniac Cop – Story about a murderous ex-police officer returned from the dead, who seeks revenge on the people who wronged him. Directed by William Lustig.
- Waxwork – A wax museum owner uses his horror exhibits to unleash evil on the world. Directed by Anthony Hickox.
- A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master – After completing his revenge against the families who killed him, Krueger uses Kristen’s best friend, Alice Johnson, to gain access to new victims in order to satiate his murderous needs. Directed by Renny Harlin.
- Night of the Demons – While attempting a séance, a group of high school students accidentally release a demon locked in the crematorium that begins to possess them one by one. Directed by Kevin S. Tenney.
- Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers – Awakening from a ten-year coma, Michael Myers returns to Haddonfield, Illinois, to kill his seven-year-old niece, Jamie Lloyd, with Dr. Loomis pursuing him once again. Directed by Dwight H. Little.
- Hellbound: Hellraiser II – Kirsty Cotton is admitted into a psychiatric hospital after the events of the first film where the head doctor unleashes the Cenobites, a group of sadomasochistic beings from another dimension. Directed by Rony Randel.
- Return of the Living Dead Part II – Curious kids unearth the barrels that previously helped revive the dead, which proves the second time’s an undead charm. Directed by Ken Wiederhorn.
2-Star Ranking – Could’ve Been Better
- Critters 2: The Main Course – The plot takes place two years after the first film, as a batch of planted Critter eggs begin to hatch and resume their carnivorous appetite upon the town once again. Directed by Mick Garris.
- Phantasm II – The first film’s protagonist, Mike, recently released from a mental institution, recruits Reggie and some new friends in an effort to defeat the villain Tall Man. Directed by Don Coscarelli.
