New Vegas definitely raised the stakes in terms of a more in-depth role-playing experience. Taking the systems of Fallout 3, New Vegas offers more in terms of different factions, more in-depth companions, more polished gameplay, and an immersive story. There’s definitely tons of room for exploration as players walk the Mojave Desert trying to survive the elements, creatures, and other survivors.

(2) Red Dead Redemption

Not only is this one of the best Wild West games but it’s one of the best open world games. Not only is it vast but it’s alive with all kinds of activity ranging from travelers, to robbers, to animals. And it’s a great story with one of the most memorable video game characters, John Marston.
