Top 10 Warrior Effect Monster Cards

In this post we’re listing ten of my favorite Warrior effect monster cards. Warriors are pretty versatile in terms of attribute and consist of knights, brawlers, rogues, etc.

(1) Gilford the Legend (Level 8)

This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can equip as many Equip Spell Cards from your Graveyard as possible to Warrior-type monster(s) on your side of the field.

(2) Sasuke Samurai (Level 2)

When this monster attacks a face-down Defense Position monster, destroy the face-down monster immediately with this card’s effect without flipping it face-up of damage calculation.

(3) Amazoness Swords Woman (Level 4)

The opponent takes all Battle Damage to this card’s controller that he/she takes from a battle involving this monster.

(4) Princess of Tsurugi (Level 3)

FLIP: Inflicts 500 points of Direct Damage to your opponent’s Life Points for each Magic and Trap Card your opponent has on the field.

(5) Total Defense Shogun (Level 6)

This card is changed to Defense Position when it is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned successfully. This card can attack while it is in Defense Position. If this card attacks while in Defense Position, apply the ATK of this card for damage calculation.

(6) Hayabusa Knight (Level 3)

This monster can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.

(7) Trident Warrior (Level 4)

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 monster from your hand.

(8) Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight (Level 7)

If this is the only card in your hand, you can Summon this card in face-up Attack Position without tributing monsters. This is treated as a Normal Summon.

(9) Marauding captain (Level 3)

Your opponent cannot target Warrior monsters for attacks, except this one. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand.

(10) Sword hunter (Level 7)

A monster destroyed by this card becomes an Equip Magic Card. Equip “Sword Hunter” with the card to increase the ATK of this monster by 200 points. The equipped card remains on the field until this card is destroyed.
