iZombie’s Rose McIver to Star in Supernatural Comedy “Ghosts”Rose

iZombie star Rose McIver is set to star in CBS’ new supernatural comedy series Ghosts, a series about a struggling young married couple who inherit a beautiful country house haunted by numerous ghosts from across the ages that have died on its grounds.

McIver is best known for her role as the zombie Oliva Moore for five seasons of the TV adaptation of the comic by writer Chris Roberson and artist Michael Allred. The series focuses on a woman turned zombie who works as a medical examiner to access brains while gaining the memories and traits of that person to help solve murders as a psychic. McIver’s other TV credits include Once Upon a Time and Masters of Sex.

The series is based on a BBC One series of the same name, and will be written by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman who will act as executive producers as well as Trent O’Donnell. Utkarsh Ambudkar (The Mindy Project)will star as McIver’s husband. The supporting cast will include Richie Moriarty (What We Do in the Shadows), Rebecca Wisocky (Devious Maids), Danieele Pinnock (Young Sheldon), Brandon Scott Jones (The Good Place), Asher Grodman (Chicago Med), Sheila Carrasco (Jane the Virgin), and Roman Zaragoza (Austin & Ally).
