(10) Vampire Batman
(9) Christian Bale
Bale brought a modern take to Batman, and with the series’ great direction, great writing, and awesome performance by Bale the Dark Knight has never looked better.
(8) The Batman Who Laughs
What happens when Batman becomes infected with a super advanced version of Joker venom? He becomes the Batman Who Laughs. This awesome version of the character nearly brought the multiverse into total darkness and is responsible for the deaths of countless people.
(7) Justice League: Gods and Monsters
In an alternate universe where Superman is actually the son of Zod, Wonder Woman is actually a New God, and Batman is actually a vampire. Kirk Langstrom takes on the Batman persona after acquiring vampiric abilities while trying to cure his cancer. As a side note, Langstrom in most other versions is known as Man-Bat.
(6) Batman Beyond
Terry McGinnis is Bruce’s successor as the new, younger Dark Knight. This renewed energy gives the character more depth of character as well as the awesome future setting.
(5) Flashpoint
Personally, I love a Batman that kicks ass and kills criminals. Nothing strikes fear into bad guys more than a Batman who isn’t afraid to cross that line. In an alternate timeline created by the Flash, Thomas Wayne takes the mantel of Batman after his son Bruce Wayne is killed in a robbery.
(4) Michael Keaton
Michael Keaton portrayed the Dark Knight in the 1989 Batman movie and its sequel Batman Returns which was released in 1992. Keaton definitely set the stage for Batman on the big screen.
(3) Arkham Series
(2) DC Extended Universe
He’s played by Ben Affleck.
(1) Batman: The Animated Series
There’s literally no Batman that measures up to Kevin Conroy’s animated version who helped usher in comic book shows in the nineties.
