Spawn #24: The Hunt Part 4 Review

The Hunt Pt.4 starts off with Detective Sam Burke and “Twitch” Williams standing over the bodies of Spawn and Terry Fitzgerald, Al’s best friend, who looks almost as bad as Spawn does without his mask. Dam this dude looks like crap. Thinking Spawn is dead the two detectives discover Fitzgerald is alive.  The scene skips over several parties who make it clear that Fitzgerald is a problem.

Burke and Twitch interrogate Fitzgerald deducing he was set up with Spawn getting his butt handed to him by Overtkill.  Despite his pleas to rescue his wife and daughter from the mob, the two detectives apprehend him.  However, they are attacked by the bums in the alley before Fitzgerald is attacked by the mob hitman.  Before they can kill him, he is saved by Spawn who smashes his car to hell.  Dude made one hell of an entrance.

Several parties converge on the scene including the CIA, mob, police, and media before Spawn decides to give them a light show “These alleys belong to Spawn“.  Spawn then goes to all the major players gunning for Terry and “convinces” them to let the case go giving Terry his freedom and his life back therefore ending the The Hunt Pt.4.

The Verdict: In the end, The Hunt Pt.4, is actually pretty sweet.  There isn’t much action but it’s nice to see Spawn stepping out of the shadows, especially to save his friend…former friend.  The Hunt Pt.4 gets 3 out of 5.
