In nearly every fighting game franchise there are characters who utilize elemental abilities, and none are more prominent than ice abilities.  In this post, we’re listing the most badass ice users in video games.  Note: in this post we’re not listing them in any specific order and this list will be updated accordingly.

1. Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat)

One of two brothers who take up the name Sub-Zero, a formidable fighter  from the Lin Kuei clan possessing the innate ability to control ice in many forms.  The first being the elder Bi-Han, who was introduced in the first Mortal Kombat and replaced by his brother Kuai Liang after his death.

An alien who has landed on Earth to recover his stolen technology before it can fall into the wrong hands.

3. Shiva (Final Fantasy)

Although she takes different forms throughout the Final Fantasy series, she’s usually always depicted as a beautiful blue skinned woman with the ability to control ice.
