Ganondorf vs. Sephiroth vs. Augus

In this post, we’re taking three of some of the most badass villains and video games and are pitting them against each other; the Great King of Evil, Ganondorf, the One Winged Angel, Sephiroth, and the Seventh Deity Augus.

Ganondorf - The Legend of ZeldaGanondorf Dragmire is the main antagonist of the The Legend of Zelda series, also known as the Dark Lord or the Great King of Evil.  He is the only male Gerudo, born once every hundred years, and the reincarnation of the evil being Demise.  Ganondorf is exceptionally cunning, ruthless, cruel, and manipulative.  As a Gerudo warrior before possessing the Triforce of Power
Ganondorf is a highly skilled swordsman and a gifted sorcerer in black magic.  After acquiring it his powers are increased, allowing him super strength, invulnerability, immense magical prowess. Ganondorf - Hyrule Warriors He has an extremely long life span (possible immortality).  In addition Ganondorf can fly, summon monsters, open portals to other dimensions, create barriers, and can transform into his more terrifying boar demon form called Ganon.  Ganondorf is not only a presence in The Legend of Zelda series but also the Super Smash Bros. series

Sephiroth - Final Fantasy VIISephiroth, also known as the One Winged Angel, is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII.  Sephiroth was born in Nibelheim and stands at six foot eleven.  Although human, Sephiroth has superior physical prowess compared to most humans. A former of SOLDIER who went rogue after discovering the experiments performed on him during his mother’s pregnancy which drove him mad. Sephiroth is a master swordsmen who wields the Masamune.  His skills with a sword are so powerful that he has the ability to produce Sephiroth - Crisis Core Final Fantasy VIIbeams of energy by swinging his Masamune; cutting through solid metal and concrete with ease.  Due to the experiments during his birthing development he has superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes.  After assimilating of Jenova and his immersion in the lifestream enabling him to not only cast powerful dark magic without the use of Materia but also fly, levitate, project illusions into the minds of others, and manifest the Masamune at will.  Also, as a side effect of his assimilation with Jenova he can control creatures that contain Jenova cells in their bodies. Sephiroth is not only a presence for Final Fantasy VII the Dissidia series and the Kingdom Hearts series as well as the animated film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Augus is one of the main antagonist in the Asura’s Wrath and one of the Seven Deities.  His Mantra Affinity is Greed.  A bold warrior with a love for fighting for the sake of fighting, he does enjoy the finer things in life, (women, food, drinking, etc.).  He also dislikes rational thought and other sensible approaches when dealing with matters and prefers to fight instead. He was originally a rogue demigod warrior who lived in the mountainous areas defeating large Gohma and various warriors in his pursuit to find a worthy fighter.  He is then approached by Deus and asked to join him and become one of the Eight Guardian Generals.  As one of the elite fighters of the Seven Deities and the Former Eight Guardian Generals, Augus is immortal to the ravages of time and possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, and endurance.  He is shown to have an incredible amount of strength and endurance and an immense skill in unarmed combat.  Unlike the other demigods he rarely uses Mantra-based attacks in battle.  His greatest weapon is his mystical sword named ‘Wailing Dark’, which he only draws against an opponent he deems sufficiently powerful.  Not only can it extend its blade to impossibly long lengths but it allows its wielder to generate massive waves of destructive energy that can travel above or along the ground.
